Fresh Apricot Milkshake

Ingredients
Chopped Fresh Apricot-1/2 cup
Whole Milk-1 cup
Vanilla Ice cream-1 tbsp
Cardamom powder-a pinch
Brown sugar to your taste
Method
Blend above ingredients together & serve it cold.

Orange & Mint Drink


Ingredients
Orange-4
(Take the juice from it)
Water to dilute the juice
Brown sugar-1tsp
Honey-1tsp
Mint leaves-20 leaves
Lime juice-2tsp
Method
Boil the mint & take the essence of it ,cool & filter.Mix every thing together & serve it cold.This is a very cooling drink for summer.

Tomato Mint Juice


Ingredients
Ripe tomatoes-2
Mint-3 leaves
Salt & Pepper to taste
Homey-1/2tsp
Lime juice-3drops
Ginger-1/4''
Water to dilute
Method
In a mixi blend tomato,mint & ginger.Filter & dilute it.Add other ingredients mix & serve it cold.

Prunes Lassi

As summer has started, iam coming out with lots of cool stuff....Today i tried Prunes Lassi it was very good...




Ingredients
Pitted prunes-6
Curd (should not be sour)-2 cups
Honey-1tbsp
Roohaafza-1tsp( optional)
(Rose syrup)
Ice cubes
Method
In a mixi puree the prunes.Now add honey,curd & ice cubes.whip it in mixi.Serve it cold.Rose syrup can be mixed in the last if you like the taste.

Masala Tea

I made Masala tea in the morning,because i had a bad cold & sneezing.This Tea really helped me!!!
Ingredients
Lipton tea or any branded tea-2tsp
Water -11/4 cup
Brown sugar-2tsp
Milk-3/4 cup
( you want less milk reduce it to your comfort)
Grind
Ginger-1/4''
Cinnamon-2 sm. bits
Cardamom-1
Mint leaves dried-2
Fennel seeds-a pinch
Pepper-4
Cloves-1
(Make a fine powder & keep it aside)
Method
Boil water ,switch it off & add the tea masala & tea dust,close it with a lid .Rest for 5 mins,all the essence with get into the water.Add brown sugar & hot milk,mix and serve it hot.This is an excellent Tea for cold & digestion.This can be served for 2 people.
Tips
Do not over boil the water otherwise you will loose all the flavour & medicinal value.You can even use fresh mint leaves or dry ginger powder.
