Carrot Peas Sabzi |
Tempering
Ghee - 2 tsp
Jeera - 1 tsp
Hing - 1/2 tsp
Chopped garlic -3
Other ingredients
Chopped carrots - 2 cups (heaped)
Fresh peas - 1 cup
Salt to taste
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Chopped Coriander leaves for garnish
Method
Heat ghee in a pan and temper it with above ingredients.
Add the carrots and peas saute for a minute, add the dry masala powders and saute till raw smell has disappeared.
Pour some water cover and cook till vegetables are cooked.
Lastly add the garam masala and mix well and switch off the stove.
Garnish with coriander leaves and enjoy as a side dish for rice or roti!
