Ingredients
Vazhakai (Raw plantain)-1
Salt to tasteTurmeric powder-1/4tsp
Hing-1/4tsp
Curry leaves little
Oil-2tsp
Sambar powder-3tsp
(Coriander seeds-1 & 1/2tsp,Channa dhal-1tsp,Methi-1/4tsp,Jeera-1/2tsp,Red chillies-2)
Method
Steam the raw plantain(with the skin) with turmeric powder .Cool & peel the skin.Grate it finely & put it in a bowl.Dry roast the sambar powder ingredients & make a smooth powder.Now add the oil,salt ,curry leaves ,hing & sambar powder to the grated raw plantain & mix it well.Serve it as a side dish for rice.
