Baked Kalakandh / Kalakand In Oven / Kalakand Recipe

Baked Kalakand
Ingredients
Ricotta cheese-15 oz
(I used part skim)
Sugar-1 cup
Cardamom powder-1/2tsp
Chopped almonds & pistachio-3tsp
Crushed saffron-1/4tsp(optional)
Ghee or butter-1tsp
(to grease a glass Pyrex tray)
Method
Mix all above ingredients(except nuts & saffron) in a bowl.
Pour it on a greased pan or tray,bake it for 30 minutes or till light brown on top at 375 deg.F
.Remove from the oven,sprinkle the crushed saffron & nuts on top.
Cool & keep in the fridge for 20 minutes & cut into desired shape.
